Hello, I’m Linda Mellor, a dedicated guide and mentor committed to helping older women celebrate their age-earned wisdom and thrive in the most empowering chapters of their lives. Based in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, I combine a deep love for nature with a commitment to inspiring confidence, clarity, and purpose in every woman I support. Having journeyed through life’s many transitions, I treasure the gifts that come with age: perspective, resilience, and a profound understanding of self. My path led me to this wild and beautiful landscape, where I now offer one-to-one support and guided meditation walks under the calming presence of ancient Schiehallion and alongside Loch Rannoch.
Life’s journey is full of unexpected turns, and mine has been rich with adventure and change. Growing up in Fife, I later moved to London and built a successful career in headhunting. When I left city life, I established myself as an outdoor freelance photographer and writer, a passion that has remained integral to my life. In the early 2000s, I founded an online club for women, offering one-to-one mentoring and support, an endeavour that sparked my dedication to empowering others. While my connection to that club is in the past, my commitment to supporting women continues to flourish. The Scottish countryside has been my working space for many years, and throughout the year, no matter what happens with the weather, I can be found outdoors with my camera, a flask of coffee and a notebook.
The milestones I’ve experienced have only deepened my appreciation for the privilege of growing older. With over two decades as a photographer and writer, the countryside has continually inspired and nurtured my spirit, leading me to share the healing power of the Scottish outdoors. Through a blend of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and hypnosis, I offer transformational, women-centred support, including in-person and online one-to-one sessions, guided walking meditations, and creative retreats. Beyond my coaching and mentoring, I’m a public speaker and enjoy hosting talks, where I share insights on age, wisdom, and the revitalizing connection we can all have with the natural world. I also write about the countryside, and photograph our wildlife, my particular passions are our native deer and the moon phases. Oh, and hats!

“As an older woman myself, I understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with this stage of life. Having faced life’s unexpected challenges, including surviving cancer three times, navigating divorce, and transforming careers, I’ve learned that every chapter brings new wisdom. These experiences shape my compassionate approach to guiding women toward clarity, confidence, and renewed purpose. My mission is to help and support women in navigating this transformative time through a nurturing practice that celebrates age-earned wisdom, fosters personal growth, and inspires creativity. By embracing new experiences, exploring the beauty of nature, and honouring the richness of life’s journey, I aim to create a space where women can rediscover their confidence, deepen their connection to themselves, and fully embrace the vibrant possibilities of their later years.”
